In real estate, prospecting is a marketing activity of identifying and contacting possible customers for sales of products or services. In marketing, prospecting is the process of finding people who might want what you can provide in order to sell them what you offer.
Lead follow up is the process of following up with leads in order to show interest and keep them in your funnel until they are ready to convert or purchase something from your company. Lead follow up increases your conversion rate because it decreases “drop-off” when prospects lose interest when there isn’t much contact from the company after their initial inquiry.
